Eligibility Criteria for TJEE 2025

To apply for TJEE 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

✔ Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
✔ Domicile: Candidate or parent must be a permanent resident of Tripura for at least 10 years before the application date.
✔ Educational Qualification: Must have passed/appeared/due to appear in Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination with relevant subjects.
✔ Special Cases:

• Children of All India Services Officers (Manipur-Tripura Cadre) and State Govt. employees posted outside Tripura are eligible.
• Candidates whose parents are Central Govt. employees posted in Tripura for at least 3 years can also apply.
• Wards of Ex-Servicemen must have resided in Tripura for at least 5 years.
• Children of Defense Personnel from Tripura are eligible if they have stayed in the state for at least 5 years before applying.

Note: Candidates who were allotted a seat through TJEE in previous years cannot reappear unless they surrender the seat in writing within a specific timeframe.
