Siddharth began his athletics career in 2018. That same year, he competed in his first Under-14 National Championship. Even though it was his first experience at the national level, he performed impressively and finished fourth place, showing early signs of his natural talent in throwing events.

After his first national appearance, Siddharth competed in the Under-16 National Championship, where he finished around sixth or seventh place. In 2022, Siddharth achieved a massive 20.22-meter throw at the Youth National Championship, which helped him qualify for the Youth Asian Championship. When he competed in Kuwait, he faced challenges adjusting to different equipment, but he still managed to secure a bronze medal, proudly representing India on the international stage.

7. Strong Performance at the Junior Asian Championship 2023

Siddharth continued his progress in 2023 by qualifying for the Junior Asian Championship through the U20 Federation Cup with a throw close to 19 meters. At the championship in South Korea, he achieved a powerful 19.52-meter throw. One of his attempts crossed 20 meters, but unfortunately it was ruled a foul. Considering he was only 17 years old, it was still an outstanding performance.

8. Breaking the U18 India Record

One of the biggest highlights of Siddharth’s career came when he broke the U18 India National Record with a huge 21.04-meter throw using the 5 kg shot put. Around the same period, he also competed in a university-level competition and achieved a 17.31-meter throw with the senior 7.26 kg shot put, even while dealing with finger pain.

In 2024, Siddharth achieved another remarkable milestone by breaking the South Asian Championship record with a throw of 19.19 meters. This achievement once again proved his strength and ability to compete among the best athletes in the region.
